Introducing our fun, messy cooking class for toddlers and children! Designed for all, we provide all the ingredients and equipment, making it a playful way to learn

“Being a parent of two toddlers, I found myself stuck at home, trying to find lots of ways to create activities that were fun, sensory related and educational without turning our home upside down!

I noticed how much my children enjoyed being with me in the kitchen and contributing in any way they could. From buttering their toast to banging on the pots and pans they were filled with excitement and lots of energy. I began cooking with them on a regular basis and incorporated creativity, knowledge about food and a hands on approach which allowed them to learn and practice new skills which they use every day. It also helped increase their interest in trying to new foods and their confidence which I found great as my little one was a fussy eater.

I wanted to create a space in my community for toddlers and children to have all the messy fun, learning in a way that suits them whilst most importantly having a great time! This allows parent/carers to create memories as I did but not have to worry about the aftermath! This is how Mini Bakers was formed, now I am able to create this experience for others. Helping family’s bond, explore new foods, and build positive relationships with food in a fun, relaxed environment brings me so much happiness!”
